Job summary

NHS Scotland in Scotland is seeking an ADHD Nurse Specialist to support the management and organise a defined clinical caseload of children with ADHD in community out-patient settings. You will work within the Children and Young People’s Community Nursing Service, promoting multidisciplinary collaboration and contributing to evidence-based interventions for neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people.

PVG required.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with first level registration.
• Post-registration qualification in CAMH or related field desirable.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in Child Health/Development or Mental Health/Clinical Psychology, or willingness to undertake further study.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organise a defined clinical caseload of children with ADHD in community out-patient settings.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multi-disciplinary/agency service for this group.
• Support the Children’s Community ADHD Nurse role and adapt to changing needs.
