Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board in Wales is seeking a Nursing Support Worker to join the NHS team in a fast-paced surgical and emergency care setting. You will support the nursing team, assist with patient flow and clinical observations, and help with admissions and discharges.

Responsibilities

Supporting registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
Carrying out delegated clinical observations in accordance with relevant procedures.
Monitoring patients and promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate clinical staff.
Supporting patient flow and helping facilitate timely admissions and discharges.
Providing compassionate and respectful care to patients.
Maintaining effective communication with patients, relatives and members of the multidisciplinary team.
Following relevant clinical, health and safety and infection prevention procedures.
Contributing to a positive patient experience.
Maintaining accurate and appropriate documentation as required.
