Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an inspiring clinical leader to join the Professional and Practice Development Team. The role focuses on patient experience, whistleblowing and education, and works across the organisation to improve care during the patient journey.

You must be a degree-educated nurse or midwife on the NMC register with a commitment to ongoing professional development (master's level or equivalent). Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and proven change leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree educated nurse or midwife on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.
• Commitment to professional development through post registration learning.
• Demonstrated capability in quality improvement and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient experience initiatives to improve care quality and responsiveness.
• Oversee whistleblowing processes with timely, objective and fair responses.
• Support development and culture of the Nursing and Midwifery workforce.
