Job summary

PSR Solutions is recruiting an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home in the Scottish Borders. You will provide clinical leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality of care, staff development and positive outcomes for residents.

The role offers a competitive basic salary of £50,000 with a performance bonus of up to £30,000, potentially earning up to £80,000 per annum. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a care or nursing home.
• Experience managing a nursing home with responsibility for nursing staff.
• Care management qualification such as SVQ Level 5, RMA or Diploma Level 5.
• Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent clinical leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical leadership and management of the nursing home.
• Ensure compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, develop and motivate nursing and care teams.
• Deliver high-quality, safe and person-centred care.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.
• Oversee clinical governance and quality assurance.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvement across the home.
• Support recruitment, development and retention of high-quality staff.
