Job summary

Brightpoint Community College in Chesterfield, VA invites applications for a full-time, 9-month Nursing Faculty position. The college seeks qualified individuals to teach Nursing Assistant, Practical Nursing, and/or Registered Nursing across face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats.

Responsibilities include teaching 15 credit hours per semester, supervising clinicals, contributing to curriculum development, advising students, and maintaining records, while participating in program assessment and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing; enrolled in a Master’s degree program.
Several years of experience in medical-surgical and/or pediatric nursing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to teach a combination of day, evening, weekend, hybrid, and online classes.
Flexibility to work at any of the College’s locations.

Responsibilities

Teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester.
Provide clinical supervision and engage in program development, assessment, and evaluation.
Advise students and maintain accurate records.
Represent the program on committees and at community events.
