Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Community Manager to lead a team of nurses and carers, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents alongside the General Manager and wider multidisciplinary colleagues. You’ll oversee clinical care, ensure care plans are current, manage medications safely, and support regulatory standards while mentoring and developing colleagues.

This role suits an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about leading teams, improving outcomes

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and revalidation.
• At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in clinical or social care.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical care within the community and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date.
• Manage medications safely and ensure regulatory standards are consistently achieved.
• Mentor and develop colleagues and support continuous improvement and best practice across the home.
• Lead a team of nurses and care staff to deliver person-centred care with dignity and independence.

You’ll oversee the delivery of clinical care within your community, ensuring care plans are accurate and up to date, medication is managed safely and effectively, and regulatory standards are consistently achieved. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and developing colleagues, supporting continuous improvement and promoting best practice across the home.

About You

To join us as a Nursing Community Manager, you’ll need:

• Current NMC registration and revalidation
