Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Care Manager at Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne to lead and coordinate the nursing team, ensuring delivery of high-quality resident care. You will directly manage the Registered General Nurses on your team and uphold the highest standards of care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse qualification is required.
• 2–3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in elderly care.
• Demonstrated management experience and understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident assessment and care planning, ensuring plans are person-centred.
• Communicate information effectively using appropriate channels to the team.
• Lead the Nursing Team, run team meetings and action tracking.
• Supervise, one-to-one coaching, and annual reviews to support staff development.
