Job summary

WWL is seeking a Nursing Associate to join Wrightington Outpatients, contributing to ongoing assessment and care under supervision. The post supports tissue viability and wound care within the nurse-led dressing service and works with a multidisciplinary team.

This role involves venepuncture, IT systems usage, and recording patient information in line with NMC and Trust policies. Two posts are available, with full-time and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate with a Foundation Degree.
• Must have interest in tissue viability/wound care.
• Phlebotomy skills and IT systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard nursing care under supervision, in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Monitor patient condition and health needs with ongoing assessment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and escalate as required.
• Support safe administration of medicines and wound care as outlined.
