Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate to join the Treatment Rooms Service across multiple sites in the North West. Qualifications

• Deliver safe and effective care in line with care plans and clinical guidelines.
• Provide wound care, dressings, injections and other delegated procedures.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective care to patients in line with individual care plans and clinical guidelines.
• Support registered nurses in assessment and monitoring of patients; escalate concerns as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice and in accordance with NMC standards.
• Promote health and wellbeing through education, advice and support to patients and carers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using electronic systems.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and service development.
• Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Uphold professional standards and contribute to continuous learning and development.
• Supervise and support junior staff and students as appropriate.
• Adhere to Mersey Care's values and safeguarding and infection control policies.
