Job summary

Knowsley Treatment Rooms seeks a full-time permanent Band 4 Nursing Associate to join the team. You will work autonomously within a robust framework of support, supervision and training, delivering safe clinical care in line with service needs.

The role requires experience in a treatment room setting or with a district nursing team; you will work with a multi-professional team and Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise and deliver care, while adhering to NMC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a treatment room setting or with a district nursing team.
• Must meet NMC standards of proficiency and work within competency limits.
• Accountable professional adhering to the NMC code of conduct.

Responsibilities

The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise and deliver clinical care in line with service and patient needs, as agreed with supervising clinicians.

Nursing Associates are accountable professionals who are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours relevant to employment as a Nursing Associate and will work to a nationally recognised Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct. They must meet the NMC standards of proficiency and recognise and work within the limits of their competency.
