Job summary

HCA UK in London’s Harley Street Diagnostic Centre is hiring a Nursing Associate to join the Outpatients team. You’ll support patients during consultations, investigations and procedures, working with Registered Nurses, Consultants and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care across the diagnostic journey.

The role offers a permanent contract, full-time hours (37.5 per week) across Monday to Saturday, with shifts 8am–8pm on weekdays and 9am–5pm on Saturdays,

Qualifications

• NMC registration as Nursing Associate.
• Experience in outpatient, ambulatory care or similar clinical setting.
• Phlebotomy competency and experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Knowledge of clinical policies and procedures, with ability to recognise patient deterioration.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within Outpatients.
• Carry out delegated clinical tasks within scope of practice (observations, wound care, phlebotomy).
• Recognise and escalate changes in a patient’s condition promptly and appropriately.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, Consultants and multidisciplinary team to support a positive patient experience.

From imaging and pathology to specialist clinics and procedures, the centre provides patients with seamless access to world class healthcare, creating a varied and rewarding environment for colleagues who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.As a Nursing Associate in Outpatients, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering safe, efficient and patient centred care throughout every stage of the diagnostic journey. Working across a diverse range of clinics and services, you’ll support patients attending consultations, investigations and procedures, while collaborating closely with Registered Nurses, Consultants and allied health professionals. • Phlebotomy competency and experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient focused approach
• Knowledge of clinical policies and procedures, with the ability to recognise and elevate patient deterioration appropriately
