Burlington Primary Care in Ipswich is recruiting a Nursing Associate on a full or part-time basis. You will manage your own patient caseload within a clear supervision structure, contributing to chronic disease management, preventative care, and immunisation programmes.

We are seeking competence in cervical screening and child immunisations, with training provided. You will perform venepuncture, ECGs, BP checks, and ensure accurate records in EMIS, while collaborating with GPs, nurses and MDT

Qualifikationen

• NMC registered Nursing Associate with competence in cervical screening or willing to develop.
• Experience or willingness to carry out child immunisations.

Aufgaben

• Run own appointment clinics within scope of practice, including chronic disease reviews (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma).
• Deliver NHS Health Checks independently.
• Carry out cervical screening (smear taking) with competency or active training underway.
• Administer immunisations within supervised clinics and seasonal programmes.
• Perform venepuncture, ECGs, BP monitoring, urinalysis, and basic wound care.
• Maintain accurate records in EMIS and contribute to MDT meetings.
