Job summary

PENNINE CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST is seeking a Qualified Nursing Associate for Beckett Place, Female rehabilitation ward. You will work with a multi-professional team and supervising clinicians to assess patients and provide high-standard care in line with care pathways.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nursing Associate with NMC registration.
• Experience following service pathways and working with supervising clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Work with the multi-disciplinary team to assess patients and provide monitoring and care in line with service pathways.
• Bridge the gap between Health Care Assistants and Registered Nurses by working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Undertake routine nursing procedures including venepuncture, ECG recording, blood glucose measurement and interpretation, and vital signs monitoring.
• Prioritise and manage own workload and collaborate with colleagues, carers and family members as needed.
• Engage with other agencies and community teams to ensure safe admission and discharge planning.
• Deliver compassionate, safe and effective care and promote patients' comfort and well-being.
