Job summary

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate to join the Specialist Nursing Bladder and Bowel Team, delivering high-quality patient care with minimal supervision.

You will work within a MDT, contribute to care planning, triage, assessment and treatment, and have a role in supervising and teaching junior staff, with a focus on the Continence Assessment and Treatment Service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care with minimal direct supervision, supporting registered nurses.
• Triage, assessment and treatment plans for patients on the Continence Assessment and Treatment pathway.
• Supervising, teaching and assessing junior staff.
• Work independently within defined pathways, protocols and competency frameworks.
• Contribute to care planning and refer to AHPs and other agencies as required.
