Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate (Band 4) to work within the DOPMH Community Mental Health Service in Falmouth. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a Monday–Friday pattern at 09:00–17:00, based at Falmouth Hospital.

The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team, carry a patient caseload, perform medication and care plan reviews, and support patients under the MHA 117 with appropriate follow-up and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Nursing Associate Foundation Degree.
• NMC registration and experience in health/care settings.
• Experience in a community mental health team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of patients needing health support.
• Conduct care and medication reviews, including reviews of specific conditions.
• Administer long-acting injectable antipsychotic medications and monitor for side effects.
• Reviews for patients under Section 117 of the Mental Health Act (1983).
