You will work under registered nurses to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care, supporting assessment, care planning, and monitoring of patient wellbeing on a varied, fast-paced ward.

The role involves independent decisions such as recognising condition changes, prioritising care, and seeking guidance as needed, within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational ability for busy ward duties.
• Willingness to support assessment, care planning and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist assessment and care planning under a registered nurse.
• Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care.
• Monitor patient wellbeing and escalate changes as needed.
• Administer medications within your competence under supervision.
• Support discharge planning and health promotion activities.
