Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Nursing Associate (Band 4) to join the Outpatients Department at Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre. You will deliver safe, patient-centred care and work within the Nursing Associate scope alongside a multidisciplinary team to support efficient outpatient services.

This role offers wide clinical exposure, opportunities to develop skills such as venepuncture, cannulation and ECGs, and to contribute to audit and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Foundation Degree Nursing Associate
• NMC registration
• Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centred care within the Nursing Associate scope
• Undertake clinical assessments and observations (e.g. NEWS, ECGs)
• Perform venepuncture, cannulation and compression bandaging within competency
• Support patient flow through Outpatients from assessment to discharge
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and multidisciplinary team
• Maintain infection prevention and safety standards and report incidents
