Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is seeking a qualified Nursing Associate to join the Erewash nursing team based mainly in Long Eaton, Nottingham. The post involves providing community-based, patient-centered care, including venepuncture and medication administration, with emphasis on treatment plans and assessments.

You will work in a multi-professional team, communicating with patients and staff, prioritizing workloads, and traveling within the locality to deliver care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register (level 5 foundation degree for Nursing Associate practice)
• Placement experience across the 4 fields of nursing
• Willingness to travel across locality

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based, individualized care including long-term condition management and venepuncture
• Administer medications and complete nursing assessments per treatment plans
• Work within a multi-professional team and communicate effectively with staff and patients
• Prioritize and manage daily workload with supervision guidance, and delegate tasks when appropriate
• Travel across locality to visit patients and deliver care as required
