Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) is hiring a Nursing Associate for the Long Eaton area. The role is 22.5 hours per week, part-time, with pro rata pay between £28,392 and £31,157 per year. The post involves community-based care, venepuncture, and medication administration within a multi-professional team.

You will work mainly in Long Eaton, travel across the locality, and participate in developing patient-centred services in line with the DCHS Way and NHS standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register (Foundation degree level).
• Placement experience in the four fields of nursing.
• Ability to travel independently across locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based care including long-term condition management and venepuncture.
• Administer medications and perform nursing assessments.
• Work in a multi-professional team and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
• Organise and prioritise daily tasks with guidance from line manager.
• Manage workload and delegate tasks to junior colleagues as needed.
• Travel across the locality to provide care in patients' homes and clinics.
