Role Overview

The Nursing Associate will work within a multidisciplinary team on a 26-bed Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit, supporting patients from admission to discharge. The role involves direct patient care, supervision of junior staff, and collaboration with clinical teams. This is an in-person role with no remote interview option.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under NMC standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care
• Update risk assessments using electronic systems
• Supervise junior staff and delegate tasks appropriately
• Support student nurses as assessor/supervisor
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Uphold Trust values and maintain healthy team relationships

Required Skills and Experience
