Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking compassionate Nursing Assistants to join the Oak unit at Trafford General Hospital. You will work across day and night shifts, supporting patients with personal care and reporting changes to patient conditions as part of a dedicated team.

Role offers a permanent contract with on‑site work in Manchester. Training and progression opportunities, including potential development to Band 3 after completing required modules, are provided.

Qualifications

• Holds National Care Certificate or be willing to undertake and complete within 12 weeks of starting.
• Level 2 Apprenticeship in health care or equivalent knowledge and skill.
• Experience of working in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nursing team in delivering high quality patient care.
• Support patients with personal care tasks including mobilising, toileting, bathing, dressing, eating and drinking.
• Record patient observations and changes to conditions as trained.
