Job description

My client, based in London, is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join their lovely Nursery. They are offering a Team Leader position and would like someone who is looking to progress in their Childcare career.

  • 36 hours contracted per week (All Year-Round)
  • £40k+ Salary
  • Minimum of NNEB, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) - Early Years Professional Status

Team Leader Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of the Executive Head Teacher and/or Centre Manager, to lead a team of staff providing Out of School care within the Centre.

Additionally, during school hours, to work collaboratively with the teaching staff, team leaders, and senior management team to ensure the smooth running of the centre. This will include working directly with children and covering shifts in the nursery on occasion.

To deputise for the Centre Manager, covering shifts throughout the year. To hold the DSL role during any absence of the Centre Manager. To provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
