The Breck Primary School, Poulton-le-Fylde, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years Team to support a pre‑school nursery class (Beanies) for children aged 2–4 years. The role is 30 hours per week, with potential for extra hours via the Breakfast Club, and is temporary until the end of the academic year with possible extension.

Applicants should have, or be working towards, Early Years Practitioner/Teaching Assistant Level 2 and GCSEs in English and Maths.

Formación

• Experience supporting children in a nursery/school setting.
• Understanding of Early Years Learning Goals and early years curriculum.
• GCSEs English and Maths required (C/4 or above).

Responsabilidades

• Support children's learning, development, welfare and daily routines in the nursery environment.
• Assist with activities and supervise children during routines and play.
• Help with safeguarding and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
