Job summary

Oasis Skinner Street Primary School, part of Oasis Community Learning, seeks an experienced Nursery practitioner to support a new Nursery opening in January 2027. You will work with the EYFS Lead to create a safe, engaging environment that builds confidence, independence, and early learning skills for the youngest learners.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a Nursery/EYFS classroom and supporting families with the transition into Nursery/School.
• Passion for education of the littlest learners, with expertise in various methods of delivering engaging learning activities.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with all members of the school community, while developing and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Create a caring, stimulating and engaging environment that enables all pupils to learn effectively.
• Assist with planning and preparing lessons and learning activities appropriate for the age group and ability of the children in the class.

Do you have experience working with Nursery/Reception children, and are ready to develop your expertise even further? Are you excited at the thought of being part of something new?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to work in our purpose built new Nursery opening in January 2027. Located within our well-established academy, you will play an important role in supporting a safe, engaging and stimulating environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and early learning skills.

Having invested heavily in our Academy, including our Nursery and EYFS area, we are seeking an innovative and energetic practitioner to take this to the next level. Working in partnership with the EYFS Lead, you will make your mark on the Academy and create an exceptional educational environment for the youngest students, setting them up for success.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Creating a caring, stimulating and engaging environment that enables all pupils to learn effectively, mindful of the fact that some pupils, will not have experience attending a similar setting
• Assisting with planning and preparing lessons and learning activities appropriate for the age group and ability of the children in the class
• Actively participating in the Oasis Skinner Street family, working to ensure the best outcomes for all children, and supporting the wider community
