Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a Nursery Third in Charge / Senior Lead Practitioner in the North West region. The role supports the Nursery Manager and Deputy, supervising staff, ensuring standards, and maintaining high-quality care for children.

You will demonstrate excellent communication with parents and colleagues, and bring a positive attitude to a busy early years team. Level 3 qualification in childcare is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare (required).
• Leadership experience in an Early Years setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy in daily operations.
• Supervise staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain high-quality care for children and foster strong parent relations.

About The Role:

The Nursery Third in Charge /Senior Lead Practitioner plays a crucial role in assisting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the nursery. This position involves supporting the management team in supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality care for children, and fostering positive relationships with parents and other stakeholders. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Essential Criteria:

As a Senior Lead Practitioner, you will need to be level 3 qualified or above in correlation to the government guidelines. This role is great for anybody who is looking for their next opportunity in the Early Years industry!
