We are looking for a Room Manager to lead an exceptional team of Educators in one of our nursery family rooms.

Your key responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive as a team.
• Lead our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Be a role model for outstanding care and education, inspiring your team to bring their best every day.
• Champion continuous improvement, keeping practice fresh, creative, and Outstandingly Outstanding.
• Shape the daily routine of your room, ensuring smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Support your team to plan, observe, and deliver high-quality learning experiences tailored to every child.
• Coach, guide, and motivate your team through regular feedback and professional development.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children’s learning.
• Embed and role-model our safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across your room.

Qualifications and experience

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
• For Baby Room Managers, experience working with children under 2.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• Background in delivering consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Full Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and commitment to maintain certification.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training, updated regularly.
• Passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• Positive, glass‑half‑full outlook.
• Drive, motivation, and a ‘make it happen’ attitude.
• Decision‑making ability to support and achieve Wildly Important Goals.
