Job summary

Kido International Nursery & Preschool London Fields E8 3NJ is hiring a Nursery Room Leader for a brand new launch. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers £28,000–£33,000 per year and a pathway for career growth within our fast-growing international company.

You will lead your room, develop an ambitious curriculum, support a dedicated team, and ensure safeguarding. Level 3 childcare qualification and leadership experience in Early Years are essential; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 3 minimum childcare qualification.
• Experience leading in an Early Years setting.
• English skills including Level 2 qualifications if Level 3 obtained after 2014.

What we’re looking for!

For the Room Leader role, it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 3 minimum and experience leading in an Early Years setting. Level 2 qualifications in English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014. What you'll be doing!

Lead your team with the smooth running of day-to-day activities by communicating key information to team members and parents

Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning every day

Lead your team’s performance reviews by giving supportive feedback, setting clear SMART goals, and encouraging them to grow and reach their next steps

Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) ensuring the safety and welfare of all children is always prioritised and at the heart of everything we do

Lead an ambitious curriculum for your room making sure that everyone is striving for outstanding in their education delivery

Ensure that the key person approach is well embedded in your room and every child also has both a key person and a buddy key person

Take pride in your development by ensuring you access continued professional development opportunities and encourage your team to do so
