Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Limited is seeking a Nursery Room Leader for a charming setting in Chiswick. You will lead a room, support and develop Nursery Practitioners, and deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.

You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or EYFS, have strong EYFS knowledge, and proven leadership skills. The role offers 40 hours per week, across 4 or 5 days, with a salary of £29,000–£31,500 and 31 days leave plus wellbeing day and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in practice.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise and develop staff in a Nursery setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a Room Leader or senior childcare role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• Lead, support and supervise Nursery Practitioners within your room.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities to promote learning and development.
• Ensure staff are deployed to maintain high standards of care and education.
• Implement key person procedures and allocate children to carers effectively.
