The Old Station Nursery is looking for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to guide and support our team in providing outstanding care and education at our Tadcaster Road location. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or QTS and will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring high-quality early years education, and supporting nursery operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in early years education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team to provide high-quality early years education.
• Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations and quality assurance.
• Act as a role model promoting creativity and high standards of care.
• Build relationships with families and external agencies.
• Ensure implementation of the EYFS framework.
• Oversee nursery operations in the manager's absence.
• Encourage continuous improvement and professional development.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating environment.
