Link3 Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Room Leader and qualified Early Years Practitioners (part-time or full-time) to join a dynamic team located in BS20 Portishead.
These positions offer a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-quality early years environment that values professionalism, development, and care.
* Lead and manage a team of Early Years Practitioners within a designated room
* Design and implement a high-quality curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Monitor and maintain exceptional standards of care, education, and safeguarding
* Support and mentor team members, contributing to ongoing professional development
* Act as Deputy in the absence of the Nursery Manager
* Foster positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/carers
* Minimum Level 4 qualification in Early Years or a related field
* At least two years' leadership experience in an early years setting
* Comprehensive understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS and satisfactory professional references
Early Years Practitioner - Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment to support children's learning and wellbeing
* Contribute to observations, assessments, and progress tracking for individual children
* Build and maintain effective relationships with families and team members
* Attend to children's personal care needs with sensitivity and high hygiene standards
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Commitment to providing outstanding early years care and education
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
