Job summary

Protocol Education Leeds is seeking a Nursery Room Leader for the Baby Room in LS11. This full-time, permanent role offers an opportunity to lead the Baby Room, develop leadership skills, and work in a nurturing nursery environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Childcare qualification, EYFS knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills to support babies’ development and collaborate with families.

A nursery we work closely with is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join their Baby Room team in LS11. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career or further develop their leadership skills within a warm, nurturing, and supportive nursery environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the day-to-day running of the Baby Room.

What They're Looking For

Essential

• Level 3 Childcare qualification or above.


• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.


• Experience leading a room or supervising a team.


• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• A genuine passion for childcare and supporting children's development.

Desirable

• Experience working specifically within a Baby Room environment.


• Confidence mentoring and developing team members.


• Experience contributing to inspections, quality improvement, or nursery projects.
