Salary: A GBP 13.05 per hour

The Role

As a Room Leader, you'll lead your team to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. You will support your team daily, set a positive example, and ensure smooth operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and eager to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and care to help children meet their individual milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child's needs.
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding.
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, safe, and happy environment.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team and lead in their absence.
  • Lead the staff team in a positive, meaningful, and respectful manner.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Stirling Framework codes of Conduct and the Scottish Curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults.
