Join us as a Nursery Room Leader at Smiley & Co, Ltd.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our team in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. This role involves supporting your team daily, setting a positive example, and ensuring smooth operations. Location: Stirling
Salary: £13.05 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Plan and deliver rich learning opportunities to support children's development and milestones.
  • Develop strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet individual children's needs.
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding.
  • Maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment working closely with colleagues and management.
  • Lead and support the staff team positively and respectfully.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the Stirling Framework codes of Conduct and the Scottish Curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills with children and adults.
