Job summary

The Royal Air Forces Association’s RAFAKidz at Odiham is seeking a Nursery Room Leader. You will be hands-on in a busy setting, lead a small team, and ensure high standards of care and education in line with EYFS goals.

Ideal candidates will have Level 3 Practitioner status or equivalent and demonstrable room leadership experience, with a focus on staff development and positive outcomes for every child.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience at a Level 3 position in an early years environment.
• Strong understanding of EYFS learning outcomes to plan for children's development.
• Ability to lead and model best practices to staff and support their learning journey.

Responsibilities

• Be hands-on in creating a stimulating nursery setting.
• Support and develop team members to deliver high-quality childcare.

£30420 37.5 hours per week

As well as the usual responsibilities that you would expect of this role, our Room Leaders are part of our management team and role models to other members of staff. You will encourage and motivate your colleagues to continually demonstrate best practices and support them in their learning journey towards their qualifications. You will have a minimum of one years experience working at a level 3 position in an early years environment and have a good understanding of the EYFS learning outcomes to plan for childrens learning and development.
