Job summary

RAFAKidz Nursery at RAF Shawbury is seeking a capable Room Leader or Level 3 Practitioner to lead a busy early years setting and deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS.

You will coach staff, promote best practices, and support children's learning journeys. A minimum of one year in a Level 3 role is required; RAFAKidz offers competitive benefits, generous leave, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a Level 3 position in an early years environment.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS learning outcomes to plan for children's learning and development.
• Ability to lead and mentor staff to maintain best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a busy nursery room, ensuring high standards of care and learning.
• Plan engaging activities aligned with EYFS and monitor children's progress.
• Support and develop staff through coaching, feedback and performance conversations.

About you

You can expect to be fully hands on to create a stimulating and exciting nursery setting. Ideally you will be either an experienced Room Leader or a Level 3 Practitioner ready for your next challenge. As well as the usual responsibilities that you would expect of this role, our Room Leaders are part of our management team and role models to other members of staff. You will encourage and motivate your colleagues to continually demonstrate best practices and support them in their learning journey towards their qualifications. You will have a minimum of one years experience working at a level 3 position in an early years environment and have a good understanding of the EYFS learning outcomes to plan for childrens learning and development.
