Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Pre-school Room Supervisor to join our team at Tiddlers Pre-School in Saltford. You will lead a team in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 3-5 years, using our innovative curriculum “Where Children Shine”. This role offers opportunities for career progression, including potential advancement to 3rd in charge within our nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the effective running of the nursery through organization and planning.
  2. Lead and manage your own key group of children and team members, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  3. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development.
  4. Use the “Where Children Shine” curriculum and EYFS requirements to observe, plan, and assess children’s progress.
  5. Communicate effectively with families regarding their children’s wellbeing and development.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Level 3 qualification minimum; Level 6 preferred, with relevant early years education or childcare qualification.
  2. Proven experience leading a nursery room environment.
  3. Strong understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and health and safety policies.

  5. Positive attitude with leadership qualities and initiative.
