TeacherActive is seeking a confident Nursery Room Leader in Oxford to lead a team and deliver high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework. The role offers a permanent contract, with options for 4 long days and 3 days off, and a competitive hourly rate.

Ideal applicants will hold Level 3 in Early Years or Childcare, have nursery experience, and demonstrate strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership capabilities to inspire a dedicated team and support children's development.

Your Role Will Include:

• Leading and motivating a team of Nursery Practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare.
• Creating fun, engaging and stimulating activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing.
• Building strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently followed.
• Creating a positive, welcoming and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years or Childcare – ESSENTIAL.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Confidence in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
• A positive, enthusiastic and caring approach to childcare.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
