Job summary

Busy Bees Guildford is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, guiding educational strategies across the centre and inspiring the team to maintain high standards of care and learning.

You will lead planning, ensure a safe, stimulating environment, and manage development progress with parents. The role emphasizes strong leadership, teamwork, and a passion for early years education.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
  • Passionate about children's development and working with families.

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.

  • Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Busy Bees Guildford Fitzsimmons Place accommodates 124 children and features a longstanding team dedicated to providing the best start in life for every child. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
