Busy Bees in Newbury is seeking a dedicated Nursery Leader to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities within a safe, caring environment. You will lead a supportive team, oversee children's wellbeing, and communicate progress to families.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 in Early Years, have supervisory experience, and possess strong leadership and communication skills to foster positive relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience preferred (Nursery Room Leader/Manager).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and building positive relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
