Location: Bath and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible day-to-day
Hours: Morning / Afternoon / Full Day

Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them grow and thrive? We are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing nursery practitioners to work in a one of our Bath nurseries. Whether you're a qualified Early Years practitioner or someone with relevant experience looking to build a career in childcare, we want to hear from you!

The Role

  • Support the learning, play and development of children aged 0-5
  • Follow daily routines including meals, naps, and play
  • Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment
  • Work alongside a team of Early Years professionals
  • Ensure all safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained
  • Passionate about working with young children
  • Reliable, caring and patient
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Willingness to support with personal care
  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification (for qualified positions)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • Paediatric First Aid training


Want to become a qualified TA or EYFS Practitioner?

We are currently working in partnership with a training provider. Cidori offer a fully funded Level 2 Teaching Assistant course. The course lasts 4 weeks and will give you the knowledge and skills needed to work in schools. You will become confident leading small group sessions and forming professional relationships with students. On successful completion of this course, you will gain:

-NCFE Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools & Colleges
-Level 1 Award in Securing Employment
-Level 1 Certificate in Personal Social Skills
-Level 1 Award in Personal Resilience & Perseverance
-Level 1 Certificate in Securing Progression

Five Education operates a PAYE payroll - the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin charges or employer's NI. Please note, pay rate is illustrative and includes holiday pay.

Vetting
Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants will undergo checks including reference and TRA checks. If you do not have a non-voluntary enhanced DBS on the update service, a new DBS will need to be processed at a cost of £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work and once registered to the update service.
