Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Droitwich is hiring a Nursery Practitioner to help create a warm, safe and stimulating environment for young children. You will plan and deliver play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework and build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.

No formal qualifications are required; prior childcare experience is beneficial. The role offers 40 hours weekly, £12.71 per hour, and a benefits package including childcare discounts, generous holiday

• No formal qualifications required.
• Previous childcare experience is beneficial.
• DBS checks and right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and care.
• Be a team player, guiding apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
