Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare is required.

• Excellent communication skills in English with children, parents and colleagues.
• Driving experience is advantageous for off-site activities.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your management and leadership skills will be essential in guiding both children and fellow staff members.

Duties

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's development across all areas.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records to support their individual learning journeys.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, including participating in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Support children’s emotional well-being by providing comfort, encouragement, and guidance as needed.

Experience:

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
