Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Weston-super-Mare is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children, part-time 16 hours per week (Wednesday and Friday 8-5pm), within our Busy Bees setting.

You'll work with our Bee Curious curriculum, create engaging, safe learning spaces, build strong family connections, and benefit from ongoing professional development, career progression, and the broader Busy Bees benefits programme.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
• Good communication, organisational skills, and ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the EYFS.
• Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
