Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. is seeking an Early Years Educator to foster the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children within our Busy Bees setting. You will contribute to a high-quality educational environment and participate in the Bee Curious curriculum.

Role involves planning activities, supporting child development, and collaborating with families to ensure a nurturing, inclusive experience for every child in our Outstanding- or high-quality nursery network.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience working with children under 5.
• Ability to communicate well, stay organised and apply knowledge of child development to plan activities.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment and prepare rooms for learning.
• Lead Educational Activities aligned with EYFS and developmental goals.
• Serve as Key Person to support development and engage with families.

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
