Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children in our nurseries. You will contribute to a warm, high-quality learning environment and participate in our Bee Curious curriculum.

You’ll work with a dedicated team in our UK-wide nursery network, delivering EYFS activities, fostering curiosity, and building strong family partnerships. A passion for early childhood education is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education (EYFS).
• Proven experience working with children under 5.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

Our beautiful Ingleby Barwick nursery has an Ofsted rating of Good, and has a capacity of 101. We have a longstanding and dedicated team that has the children at the centre of everything that we do. Role Responsibilities

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
