Job summary

Revive EYFS Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a warm nursery in South East London for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner. The role focuses on supporting learning, development and wellbeing for 1-2 year olds in a nurturing environment with strong leadership and opportunities for progression.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification, has EYFS knowledge, and works well in a team. The position is full-time and permanent, with shifts between 8am-6pm and ongoing CPD

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience in an Early Years setting is required.
• Experience with children aged 1-2 years is desirable.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 1-2 years, helping to create engaging and inspiring experiences during this crucial stage of development. You'll be joining a setting where teamwork, professional growth and child-centred care are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Observe, assess and monitor children's progress and development
• Maintain accurate learning records and contribute to individual learning plans
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can thrive
• Support children's emotional wellbeing, social development and positive behaviour
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education
• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
• Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting and sleep routines where appropriate
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming nursery environment

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
• Experience supporting children aged 1-2 years is desirable
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, caring and professional approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
