About Our Nursery

Busy Bees Leicester Meridian Park, rated "Good" by Ofsted and with a capacity of 130 children, provides a loving, stimulating, and engaging environment for children to thrive academically and emotionally. Our nursery features a spacious outdoor area with a large garden divided into dedicated spaces for each age group, allowing seamless free flow for children to explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors. Conveniently located in Meridian Leisure and Business Park, just off the A563 and a short 5-minute drive from the M1 at Junction 21 and the M69 at Junction 3, we are also an 8-minute walk from the nearest bus stop on Owen Close, which serves multiple routes. The nursery offers free parking for staff and boasts a dedicated team, many of whom have over 15 years of experience, including our passionate Centre Director. What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
