About our Nursery

Busy Bees Haywards Heath, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, accommodates 120 children and is part of an expanding and well‑respected UK portfolio. Our nursery combines safe and secure facilities with well‑trained and qualified staff, alongside effective learning programs and play equipment designed to develop children's communication and creative skills. Housed in a beautifully converted Grade II listed building, we offer 72 places, making a significant contribution to the local community.

To support early childhood education, Busy Bees partners with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition for children moving from nursery to school, fostering a sense of continuity in their educational journey. We also provide free parking for staff.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating environment: prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead educational activities: plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key person role: oversee children’s development and care needs, and build strong family connections.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
