Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking an Early Years Educator to support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children within a Busy Bees nursery. You will create engaging, educational spaces and work as a Key Person to foster strong family connections, all while delivering the Bee Curious curriculum to nurture curiosity and confidence.

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: prepare materials and arrange rooms to support learning and development.
  • Lead Educational Activities: plan and deliver activities aligned with the EYFS to foster growth.
  • Key Person Role: oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

About our Nursery

Busy Bees Mill Hill, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 78 children in newly refurbished rooms, each with its own individual outdoor area. Our superb chef prepares delicious home-cooked meals that are nutritionally balanced and healthy, featuring a six-week rolling menu that highlights fresh, seasonal produce. Role Responsibilities

What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

  • Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
  • Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
  • Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
