Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Educator to support children's intellectual, social, and emotional development within our Busy Bees setting in the UK. You will contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum and work in a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality early education.

The role requires Level 3 Early Years Education and experience with children under 5, plus strong communication and organisational skills to plan engaging activities and build strong family links.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Education qualification required.
• Proven experience with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
• Strong communication, organisational skills, and knowledge of child development to plan activities.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment and prepare materials for activities.
• Lead Educational Activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Oversee Key Person role and build strong family connections.

About Our Nursery

Camberley, rated Good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 89 children and boasts a large, dedicated team, many of whom are longstanding staff members committed to providing the best opportunities for our children. Our team is passionate about supporting children's learning and growth, ensuring they receive the best start in life. Conveniently located next to the town center, we are just a two-minute walk from the train station and close to a main area with multiple bus stops servicing various routes. We offer free parking for staff and operate five days a week from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, remaining open all year round except on bank holidays.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner

• Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
• Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Key Person Role: Oversee children's development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
• Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
• Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
